Track Of The Day : Fronteers - It's Up To Me Now

It's Up To Me Now is the second single from Hull's Fronteers, the follow-up to July's debut Youth. Having already made a very positive impression supporting the likes of Blossoms and Pretty Vicious as well as getting airplay from both 6 Music and X Radio, It's Up To Me Now seems certain to win over a whole new bunch of admirers with its straight-talking lyrics and refreshingly uncluttered melodies.

Fronteers are Andy Towse on vocals and guitar, James Taylor on vocals and guitar, Ellis Keogh on bass and Lloyd Tuton on drums. Still only nineteen years old, they formed out of the ashes of The Blackbirds and have generated a buzz first with Youth and now this new track. It's a defiant song about doing what you want to do in the face of adversity that will ring true with so many, a message of being yourself whatever the situation.

Fronteers are on Facebook and Twitter. It's Up To Me Now is out on November 13.
