VIDEO TRACK OF THE DAY : Bang Bang Romeo - Chemical

We're proud to have been asked to reveal the new video by Bang Bang Romeo for their track Chemical. The band have made many of the tips for 2016 blogger lists and have also recently been featured by Fred Perry Subculture, Radio X and they are headlining the Manchester leg of This Feeling's Big In 2016 party later this month as well as playing at the exciting new When In Manchester festival in April.

Bang Bang Romeo are a four-piece from South Yorkshire featuring Anastasia Walker on vocals, Ross Cameron on guitar, Richard Gartland on drums and Joel Phillips on bass. We described them when they supported White Boy in Manchester last year as "a band not afraid to look different and stand out from the crowd" and "absolutely captivating to watch and hear."

After a couple of self-released EPs Adore Me and We Were Born, their Johannesburg single released last year was one of the highlights of 2015 and they spent most of the year building a live following around the country supporting the likes of Dexters and Reverend And The Makers.

Chemical was recorded live at Olympic Studios in London by internationally acclaimed producer Chris Kimsey, who described them as a hard-edged Fleetwood Mac, last November. The song showcases Anastasia Walker's show-stopping vocals, rich in emotion and drama in every syllable of the song as well as a more subtle side to the band away from their fearsomely energetic live sets.

Anastasia explained to us that the track, penned by guitarist Ross, is "about not giving up on someone even when it feels like it's almost over, not living with regrets and finding that feeling again that was there right at the beginning, it's love that's worth fighting for that can't be explained as something that runs through your veins, it's something bigger than that."

Bang Bang Romeo play Manchester Night And Day Cafe as part of This Feeling on January 30 and the When In Manchester Festival on April 16 and further dates should be announced in the near future.

Bang Bang Romeo's official website can be found here and they are on Facebook and Twitter.
