Track Of The Day : Carousel Clouds - Invisible Lines

Invisible Lines is the debut single by Carousel Clouds that is released on Friday with a launch gig at Salford's Eagle Inn. It's a beautifully haunting tense song that builds slowly, simmering and then shimmering into glorious life with layered vocals and intricate instrumentation.

The Carousel Clouds collective - they describe themselves as "less as a band, more as an open, revolving door - or carousel - of musicians and collaborators" - has had involvement from many names in the Manchester and surrounding music scene, the likes of Mr Heart, Bonebox, LIINES, Optional Wallace, GULF, Tom Hingley, ill, A.A.A.K and Monroe Hips and also picked up support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson at the BBC.

Carousel Clouds' website, where the single is available, can be found here and they are on Facebook and Twitter.
