Cupids - Manchester Night And Day - 26th April 2017
Good Things (Come To Those Who Wait) was the title of Cupids' last single, which turns out to be their final release as they rode off into the sunset and pastures and projects new after a sold-out farewell show at the Night And Day in Manchester on Wednesday night. What would ordinarily be a sad affair turned out to be a celebration of both Cupids and their predecessors Gramotones.

Cupids - Manchester Dr Martens Store - 18th August 2016
As part of Dr Martens' Stand For Something campaign they partner up with bands and recently they've linked up with Cupids cumulating in a hot and sweltering in-store set last night in their Market Street store. Ever adaptable, Cupids performed amongst the boots and shirts to a crowd that had packed in from the street to catch them in another unusual setting.

Cupids - Manchester Spaceport X - 20th July 2016
It's a brave man to take on the Manchester weather and Cupids had to reschedule two rooftop acoustic gigs last week because of the downpours and for a while it looked like tonight, the second night of the rescheduled shows, might fall victim to the weather, even as they started. But it held off and we were treated to a magnificent stripped-down set from one of the city's most promising bands.

When In Manchester Festival - Cupids, Trampolene, Girl Friend, Louie Louie, Bang Bang Romeo, Lunar, Foxe - 16th April 2016
Urban festivals are becoming all the rage these days, but When In Manchester is one with a difference. It has a true DIY ethos to it that's different to the increasingly corporate ones where major labels see them as a showcase and a testing ground for their potential next big things. When In Manchester was conceived by four young women on a night out and then became reality through lots of ground level hard work and planning to create something that's both intimate, diverse in its line-up and a true testament to being able to do what you want in music if you put your hearts and minds into it.

Track Of The Day : Cupids - Kickin' In
Kickin' In is Cupids' third single in the past six months and their best one yet. With Jake on lead vocals, it's already a big live favourite and they've captured the crowd-pleasing huge riff perfectly on the recorded version.

Blossoms / Cupids - Manchester Ritz - 23rd October 2015
"It's big isn't it?" Tom exclaims as the lights are put up midway through the show. Blossoms are going to have to get used to this. The sold out Ritz show that concludes this triumphant set of gigs around the release of Charlemagne might be their biggest headline set so far, but it feels like a stopping point on a journey. It's been a meteoric rise for them in 2015, but on tonight's evidence 2016, with the release of their debut album, is going to be the year everyone knows their name.
