John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence opened their UK tour in support of this year's The Light Fantastic album at Earth Theatre in Hackney, London on Friday night. Over the course of a mammoth twenty-five song set they performed the album in full as well as tracks from John's solo debut and his I Am Kloot back catalogue to an attentive and appreciative audience.

Dave Fidler launched his second album Songs From Aurora with a sold-out six-piece band set in the intimate surroundings of Salford's Eagle Inn, playing the album in full as well as a few favourites from his debut. Support came from a rare set by Joe McAdam and Camilla Sky.

The final night of this year's Manchester Food And Drink Festival was billed as John Bramwell's Greatest Hits and he didn't disappoint a busy crowd as he ran through a selection of favourite I Am Kloot songs as well as a couple of tracks from his solo debut Leave Alone The Empty Spaces and a new song from its follow-up. Support came from Dave Fidler who also previewed a raft of new songs from his forthcoming second album.

John Bramwell's first gig of 2018 was an intimate affair in the relaxed surroundings of Biddulph Arms. With support from Dave Fidler and Merrym'n, the respectful and attentive audience survived the furnace like conditions of the room and were treated to three very different but talented songwriters displaying their craft.

The big room at the Royal Northern College Of Music is the glorious setting for the final date on John Bramwell's tour to launch his album Leave Alone The Empty Spaces. A seated crowd was treated both to favourites from his I Am Kloot back catalogue, but also a sizable selection of songs from the album and its as-yet-unreleased follow-up. Support came from Dave Fidler, who also performed later as part of John's band during his set.

With the soft release of his new album Leave Alone The Empty Spaces John Bramwell has been touring the UK and the Netherlands for the past few weeks presenting the songs from it and its follow-up as well as tried and tested I Am Kloot favourites. We caught the train up to the splendid Sage 2 in Gateshead to witness the rejuvenation of one of the country's favourite songwriters.

We made the two hour trip to Berlin to catch up with John Bramwell and Dave Fidler in the middle of their European tour in the intimate surroundings of East Berlin's Kantine am Berghain, a wonderful small venue very much in the shadow of one of Europe's largest techno clubs. A torrential downpour and the end of a three day rave didn't deter the crowd from coming out to pay respect to two beautiful sets of the most raw and emotional songwriting the UK has to offer.

The performance room of Saltburn's Spa Hotel was the intimate setting for the latest show on John Bramwell's never ending tour of the UK. Overlooking the sea front from atop a cliff, it's the most picturesque and peaceful location for the tour so far and the audience responded with attention whilst the songs were being played and joined in with the between song chat to make it, like any Bramwell show, a unique experience. Support came from Dave Fidler.

Ahead of the release of his debut solo album Leave Alone The Empty Spaces this year, John Bramwell is back on the road in the delightful surroundings of Wigan Old Courts playing old favourites from the I Am Kloot back catalogue as well as road-testing new songs with the assistance of Dave and Andy Fidler on guitar, bass and cajon. Dave also played an opening set that featured songs from his debut album I'm Not Here and some new tracks from the follow-up that he's in the process of recording.
