Day two of Head For The Hills festival in Ramsbottom saw a full program of music across the day from established national headliners like The Bluetones to local heroes like Liam Frost, Mano McLaughlin, Jess Kemp and FTK as well as up and coming bands from further afield in Deco and two German bands Razz and second stage headliners Giant Rooks. FTK (Feed The Kid) - Interview

FTK is the new name of Feed The Kid. After a time out of the spotlight, they're back with a new single Strange Times and a second track Dirty Jokes, exclusively revealed here, ahead of their comeback set at Ramsbottom's Head For The Hills Festival on Saturday. We caught up with front man Curtis to find out what they've been up to and what we can expect from this new phase in the band's existence.

Liam Frost / The Slow Readers Club / Feed The Kid - Manchester Old Fire Station - 10th September 2016

Made Here was the first (and possibly only) event of its kind to be held in the grounds of the Old Fire Station in Manchester before it's redeveloped into a luxury hotel concept and restauarants. A line-up of artists and street food vendors complemented the main attraction, a music stage in the stunning courtyard that provided free live performances from some of the city's best-loved under the radar acts. We caught the last three of them - Liam Frost, a rare acoustic set from The Slow Readers Club and Feed The Kid.

Feed The Kid / Saytr Play / The Hotspur Press - Manchester Spaceport - 19th August 2016

Relying on the Manchester weather is always a risky business, so the day's downpours meant that B33's Rooftop party was moved down two floors into an open space in the same building. We caught Feed The Kid and new signings Saytr Play and The Hotspur Press play short sets to a growing crowd.

Dot To Dot Festival - Manchester various venues - 27th May 2016

Dot To Dot Festival is now a fixture in the late May bank holiday weekend in Manchester. It moved to the Northern Quarter a couple of years ago due to the close vicinity of dozens of great little gig spaces. We trekked round the venues catching some of our favourite bands as well as some new ones avoiding most of the big names.
