John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence - Manchester Night And Day - 10th August 2025

John Bramwell made a nostalgic return to one of his old haunts The Night And Day Cafe in Manchester on Sunday night. The set though was far from a trip down memory, taking heavily from his two solo albums since leaving I Am Kloot with a few old favourites thrown in at the end as the crowd joined in to sing along and almost drown out one of the nation's finest songwriters and his exceptionally talented band.

John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence / Dave Fidler - London Hackney Earth - 15th November 2024


John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence opened their UK tour in support of this year's The Light Fantastic album at Earth Theatre in Hackney, London on Friday night. Over the course of a mammoth twenty-five song set they performed the album in full as well as tracks from John's solo debut and his I Am Kloot back catalogue to an attentive and appreciative audience.

John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence took to the resplendent stage of The Stoller Hall in Manchester on Thursday night to celebrate the release of John's second solo album The Light Fantastic. The five-piece performed the majority of the album alongside tracks from John's debut Leave Alone The Empty Spaces and a few selected nuggets from his I Am Kloot days to a respectful and engrossed audience. Support came from the Harmonic Convergence's own Harriet Bradshaw with tracks from her debut solo releases.

The Light Fantastic, John Bramwell's second solo album, has been a long time coming. Recorded with his band, The Full Harmonic Convergence, the twelve-song collection is a rich and vibrant addition to John's catalogue of work that is in its fourth decade. Melodic and optimistic, but shot through the battered and bruised lyrical romanticism that has been his calling card, it's a career highpoint that sits alongside his most celebrated work.

John Bramwell And The Full Harmonic Convergence warmed up a freezing Sunday afternoon in Manchester with an intimate show in the Deaf Institute that previewed tracks from the forthcoming album The Light Fantastic as well as revisiting classics from his I Am Kloot back catalogue as well as his solo album Leave Alone The Empty Spaces. Accompanied by Dave Fidler, Alan Lowles and Harriet Bradshaw, who earlier performed a short four-song set of her own, he demonstrated that he's writing the best material of his career and looking the happiest up on stage that he ever has.
