Kashmere - Interview


When I saw that Stockport-based four-piece, Kashmere, were playing a gig in my hometown of Leeds, I didn’t hesitate in going along to see them. Having watched them perform an electric, sell-out show at The Deaf Institute in Manchester just two months prior, I was keen to ask them all about the evident progress they had made in just one year, since I had first come across them playing at popular gig venue Jimmy’s, in The Northern Quarter of the same town.

TRACK OF THE DAY 3 : Kashmere - Tokyo


Kashmere return today with their new single Tokyo. Already an established live favourite, it's been marked out as a future single for some time now and the band have responded by releasing it to support a series of April shows across the North of England.

Head For The Hills Festival Day 1 - James Holt / False Advertising / New York Tourists / Cassia / Saytr Play / Larkins / Clay / No Hot Ashes / Kashmere


Day 1 of Head For The Hills (aka Ramsbottom Festival) has snuck up on us to signal the end of the festival season. Our traditional three-day jaunt up to the cricket ground started with a mix of new and emerging bands across the festival's four stages. We caught up with James Holt, False Advertising, New York Tourists, Cassia, Saytr Play, Larkins, Clay, No Hot Ashes and Kashmere.

Otherkin / Kashmere / Sapho - Manchester Jimmy's - 22nd March 2017



Jimmy's was host to Otherkin's second ever Manchester show on Wednesday night as the Dublin band toured in support of their new single Bad Advice. Support came from Stockport's Kashmere and St Helens' Sapho.

Carnival Club / Kashmere / Crimsons - Manchester Soup Kitchen - 21st January 2017



Saturday afternoon and night saw the first Lucoo all-dayer in Soup Kitchen with eight bands on the bill. Due to other commitments we were only able to catch three in the early evening, but with Carnival Club, Kashmere and Crimsons, we struck lucky.
