Throwing Muses - Hebden Bridge Trades Club - 25th August 2025

Throwing Muses continued their second leg of the UK and European tour in support of their album Moonlight Concessions with a sold-out bank holiday show at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge to an appreciative audience where they defied the expectations of a band of their vintage.

Kristin Hersh - Halifax Square Chapel Arts Centre - 25th June 2018


Kristin Hersh is on a short UK tour ahead of the release of a new solo album as well as an in-progress Throwing Muses record. Without a North West date we made the short trip across to Halifax’s impressive Square Chapel Arts Centre for an intimate one hour set of both solo and band tracks performed with just an acoustic guitar on a solitary stage.

Kristin Hersh is in the middle of a rare UK tour to support the release of her new book and double CD entitled Wyatt At The Coyote Palace. We caught her in conversation with John Robb and performing a short acoustic set at the Louder Than Words Festival at Manchester's Palace Hotel on Saturday afternoon before Sunday's sold out show round the corner at Gorilla.

Tanya Donelly / Throwing Muses - Manchester Academy 2 - 19th September 2014


It's a tour most hardcore UK Throwing Muses fans have waited a quarter of a century for - Tanya Donelly reunited with Kristin Hersh on stage for the first time playing some of the songs that made them possibly the most powerful and inventive female-fronted band of the late 1980s.  We went along to Manchester Academy 2 to witness this special moment.
