Suede / Nadine Shah - Manchester Victoria Warehouse - 10th November 2021

Suede rolled into Manchester for the penultimate night of their long-delayed anniversary tour for their 1996 album Coming Up performing the album in full in the first half of their set with a mix of singles and more recent tracks in the second half. Support came from Nadine Shah.

Nadine Shah's third album Holiday Destination is a highly charged album whose main theme is the immigration crises around the world and society's reaction to them. Performing the whole of the album plus selected cuts from her first two to a packed sold-out Band On The Wall, her passionate commitment to defend those that can't help themselves and to make sure the issue stays on the page shone through like a beacon.

The Great Escape Day 3 - Brighton various venues - 18th May 2013

The Great Escape is a three-day festival spread across thirty of Brighton’s finest small and medium sized venues attracting hundreds of acts from across the world.  It’s now become the opening event of the UK festival season and attracts visitors from all over the country and further afield.  We trawled the streets armed with a map and a timetable and an iPhone for last minute schedule changes and Twitter recommendations.  Following on a band-packed Day 1and a more relaxed Day 2, this is who we saw on the third and final day.
