Pip Blom / Chappaqua Wrestling - Manchester Night And Day - 17th November 2018


However cold it is outside, a sold out gig at the Night And Day in Manchester is always an intense sweltering affair and Pip Blom's triumphant return to a city that has taken the Dutch teenager to their heart was no exception. Before her twelve song set had the crowd bouncing, Chappaqua Wrestling impressed us on the first time we've seen them play.

Neighbourhood Festival (The Howl And The Hum / Blossoms / Pip Blom / Neon Waltz / Billie Marten / Black Honey / Rory Wynne) - Manchester Various Venues - 7th October 2017


The second Neighbourhood Festival took place on Saturday across a dozen venues in the Oxford Road area of Manchester with a line-up that covered nationally acclaimed bands in big venues such as The Ritz and The Albert Hall to lesser-known up-and-coming bands in more intimate surroundings. It also saw the second performance of Blossoms' collaboration with composer Joe Duddell accompanied by the Royal Northern College Of Music ensemble.

Pip Blom - Manchester Castle - 12th April 2017


Pip Blom recently supported Surfer Blood at Soup Kitchen and impressed enough of us to pack out The Castle for her return a few weeks later. A nine-song set full of hooks, melodies, energy and some genuine rock music power from the nineteen-year old Dutch singer and her band left us all hotter and sweatier than when she started and went down a storm with a crowd waiting to be impressed.

Sunday night saw Surfer Blood bring their Snowdonia tour to Manchester's Soup Kitchen with Dutch band Pip Blom and local heroes Control Of The Going in tow.
