She Drew The Gun / Peaness / Natalie McCool - Manchester Academy 2 - 30th October 2019


She Drew The Gun's UK tour called in at a close-to-capacity Manchester Academy 2 on Wednesday night for an inspirational show pulling from both the Memories Of Another Future and Revolution Of Mind albums as well as new material. Support came from Peaness and Natalie McCool.

Travis / She Drew The Gun - Manchester Bridgewater Hall - 8th September 2017


For two nights only Travis are revisiting the album that is most associated with them, their three million selling 1999 album The Man Who, with shows at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall and a headline slot at London's On Blackheath festival. Their Manchester show combined the album with a series of crowd pleasing favourites from the early part of their career, supported by the wonderful She Drew The Gun.

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott / She Drew The Gun - Warrington Parr Hall - 1st June 2017



Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott warmed up for their massive Hull stadium show on Saturday with an intimate warm-up show at Warrington's Parr Hall and a set that straddled Paul's time with The Housemartins and his work with Jacqui in The Beautiful South and as a duo including two tracks from their as yet unreleased third album. Support came from She Drew The Gun.

The holy surroundings of St Philips Church in Salford provided the backdrop for two great sets in surreal circumstances with light shining through the glazed windows at the start of Sounds From The Other City from She Makes War and She Drew The Gun, both on the promotional circuit for their excellent recent albums Direction Of Travel and Memories Of The Future.

Of last year's top three, we were the only blog to nominate Blossoms in the Blog Sound Of 2015 poll and they finished the year headlining The Ritz and close to selling out Albert Hall. She Drew The Gun - Manchester Academy 2 - 17th October 2015


Since we first featured She Drew The Gun's debut single If You Could See back in January, things have started to happen for Louisa and her band. Second single Since You Were Not Mine won her a whole legion of new fans and with Steve Lamacq debuting new song Where I End And You Begin and them securing a huge support slot on Fink's European tour, the future looks promising. We caught their opening set at Manchester Academy 2 on Saturday night.
