The Magic Numbers belatedly celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a show at Manchester Academy 2 on Tuesday night, playing the album in full in order including their first hits Forever Lost, Love Me Like You, Love's A Game and I See You, You See Me. Support came from Salford's own Ren Harvieu with a mix of tracks taken from last year's second album Revel In The Drama and brand new songs.

The Magic Numbers / Ren Harvieu - Manchester Gorilla - 9th December 2015
It's hard to believe it's ten years since The Magic Numbers debut album catapulted them from nowhere into the upper echelons of the charts with hits such as Forever Lost, Love Me Like You and Love's A Game. They've produced three fantastic albums since, but the self-titled debut is the one that sticks in most casual fans' memories. They're on tour revisiting that album in full and we caught their show at Gorilla in Manchester supported by Ren Harvieu as they rolled back the decade.

The Magic Numbers - Manchester Ritz - 3rd November 2015
The Magic Numbers are preparing for a December tour of their own by opening up acoustically for McAlmont and Butler on their tour as well as playing in their band during their set. Ramsbottom Festival Preview - Part One
This weekend sees one of the last festivals of the year and as well as being a local one, it's also one of the best. Set at Ramsbottom Cricket Club and with a selection of great national bands as well as some of the best the North West can offer as well as a great selection of other activities, food stalls and beers and with the new addition of camping facilities, it's made itself one of the highlights as it enters its fifth year. We will be previewing fifteen of the bands we recommend to see over the next three days starting with Black Rivers, Space Monkeys, The Magic Numbers, The Sundowners and The Moulettes.

Michele Stodart - Interview
Michele Stodart, bass player with The Magic Numbers, released her debut solo album, Wide Eyed Crossing, last week on her own label Keepsake Records. The album has a very country and blues feel to it and it features Michele on vocals, guitars, double bass, drums, banjo, xylophones and percussion with guest vocals from Conor O'Brien of Villagers on Invitation To The Blues.
