The Twilight Sad - Aberdeen True North Festival - 21st September 2019
It’s safe to say The Twilight Sad haven’t had an easy ride throughout the many many years of their turbulent existence. Through the adversity they’ve come out the other side stronger than ever and the bands much anticipated return to the Granite City headlining the True North Festival feels like some sort of triumph and rightly so.

The Twilight Sad - It Won/t Be Like This All The Time
January 18th 2019 sees the release of It Won/t Be Like This All The Time, the eagerly awaited new album by The Twilight Sad, and fortunately we don’t have to wait that long for what is already a contender for Album of the Year. Like all things The Twilight Sad the band refuse to stand still and continue to evolve. Don’t worry about the suggestions that they may have gone too mainstream though. This is bleak, dark, melancholic, depressing and beautiful. Once you immerse yourself in their music there really is no going back.

The Cure / The Twilight Sad - Manchester Arena - 29th November 2016
It's twenty years since The Cure last played Manchester Arena and as they returned to the UK at the end of a year-long world tour expectations were high amongst the 16,000 sold out crowd. The career- spanning set was cut short by Robert Smith's vocal issues but they still delighted with a two hour mix from most of their albums leaving their biggest songs to the end. Support came from Glaswegian heroes The Twilight Sad.

The Twilight Sad - Manchester Gorilla - 10th December 2015
As a music fan one of the joys is constant discovery, suddenly finding a band that passed you by. Before tonight I'd listened to The Twilight Sad, but never really got them, never really felt the connection. Stood next to a mate who felt the same way, they changed that in an absolutely spellbinding ninety minutes of some of the most ferocious intense and raw music I've ever witnessed.
