Ist Ist return with a bang with I Am The Fear, the first single to be taken from their upcoming as-yet-unannounced fifth album. Accompanied by a traditionally dark video, the song marks another step up for the fiercely independent Manchester band who hit the Top 25 in the Official Album Chart with their fourth album Light A Bigger Fire last year.
I Am The Fear is an enthralling mix of guitars and synths that will thrill existing fans of the Manchester four-piece as well as draw in new listeners as they prepare their fifth album for release. With Adam Houghton's baritone vocal sitting dead centre and exuding menace as he declares "I am the song stuck on repeat", the song is a bold declaration of intent from the band who've self-released their first four albums, building momentum with each cumulating in last year's Light A Bigger Fire cracking the Top 25 on the full album chart as well as securing top fives across most of the other physical, vinyl, download and independent charts.
