See You See Me is the debut single by Bolton five-piece Clouds And Errors, one of the most impressive young bands we've seen over the past couple of years and the single delivers on the promise of the rare live shows of theirs that we witnessed back in 2021.
Clouds And Errors are Mackenzie, Millie, Ife, Tashana and Felix and they formed as part of the Rockit Bolton project that supports teenagers in the town with their first steps into music. Still teenagers, See You See Me is a bold statement of intent as a first release, combining everything that made them stand out when we first caught them supporting Ist Ist last summer in the Octagon.
Mackenzie's vocals are distinctive and powerful, especially when accompanied by Millie's backing vocals, and Felix and Tashana's guitar work puts many older bands to shame and feels fresh and invigorating rather than simply trying to sound like their influences whilst Ife's drumming provides the strongest glue to pull and hold everything together.
They've been back in the studio over half term to record more songs so we very much expect to hear a lot more from them in 2023 and hopefully some more live outings.
