TRACK OF THE DAY : Dream Wife - Hot (Don't Date A Musician)

Dream Wife have released a new single Hot (Don't Date A Musician) as well as announcing the release of their third album Social Lubrication on June 9th featuring the single and its predecessor Leech as well as eight other brand new tracks. 

Hot (Don't Date A Musician) has already been a live favourite in Dream Wife's set for over a year. It reels off a list of professions that you should date rather than dating a musician before declaring "they'll see you as competition" because of the fragile egos of many male musicians and that they'll inevitably write a song about the relationship. A furiously energetic track that refuses to conform to standard songwriting structures with an mischievous twist, playful and serious at the same time, it's a perfect encapsulation of why Dream Wife are one of the most exciting and important bands out there right now.
