Wax-Tree-Cast release She, their first single of 2023, a tragic tale of a
disabled younger sister being abused by an older sibling who's meant to be
looking after her, a thought-provoking track with a twist.
Combining Blair (lead guitar) and Oolagh (bass)'s vocals on the track, Wax-Tree-Cast's latest single confirms the very positive impression they've left with a stream of support slots and their own headline shows over the past twelve months. With the line-up completed by drummer James, the Halifax three-piece have impressed with their singles to date, particularly last year's Fizzed Up, and have caught the attention of the likes of Tim Burgess who they supported in Manchester in November and who has invited them to support The Charlatans at their huge outdoor show at the Piece Hall in their hometown in August.
Wax-Tree-Cast play Sheffield The Washington (April 6), Glasgow 13th Note (7),
Newport Le Pub (14), Birkenhead Future Yard (20), Sheffield O2 Academy 2 (21),
Oxford O2 Academy 2 (22), Leeds Brudenell Social Club (27), Sunderland Pop
