Do I Ever Cross Your Mind? is the new single from James Holt. A song about looking back at a past love and wondering whether they still think about them, it's his most accessible single to date whilst retaining the rich detail and lyrical openness in the storytelling of his previous releases.
The song is very direct in its lyrical approach asking the question - "I've spent so long waiting by the phone, sometimes when I'm all alone at night I will start to type your number, and wander through our messages" - as it reflects on a love that still burns on a low flame thinking about what might have been.
The Bolton singer-songwriter has recently been selected as a Factory Sounds artist for 2023 receiving support from the Factory International organisation as they launch their new venue in Manchester later this year. This single was produced by James Skelly and Chris Taylor at Kempton Street Studios in Liverpool.
