I Can Be is the lead track from Bryony Williams' forthcoming third EP State I'm In. The single is the Wolverhampton singer-songwriter's first release on Beth Shalom Records and follows in the footsteps of her first two EPs Conscious and Wanderlust that got the attention of BBC Introducing and 6 Music.
Bryony explains what I Can Be is about : "The meaning of the song came from my own frustrations and fears of the future, while also consciously taking myself on a journey; to flesh out that inner confidence and to own who you are. You're going to uncover and encourage parts of your personality that let you feel like your authentic and badass self. My summary: be you, have fun and to hell with what others may think."
I Can Be is taken from Bryony's State I'm In EP that is released on September 18th and it also features the title track, Cherry Red and Knocking On Depression's Door. The fluorescent green and transparent yellow vinyl edition of the EP, limited to 100, also features her six-track second EP Conscious.
