The Better Option is the latest track to be revealed from PJ Bond's forthcoming second album Where Were You? due out on May 4 and showcases PJ's own brand of storytelling, love of classic guitar sounds as well as a bit of fuzzy feedback.
With an opening guitar motif reminiscent of The Smiths' Jeane, Where Were You? is a great introduction for anyone not familiar with his debut album You Didn't Know I Was Alphabetical. It also features a beautiful outro section where the song slows down to a halt, adding to the impact of the closing "I woke up on a slow train" refrain.
