Lilac Leaves is Odd Morris's second single, the follow up to What Might Be. Like most of the bands emerging from the Dublin scene, the only common thread is geography - Lilac Leaves is a powerful slow-burner that's reflective in its subject matter.
Daragh explained the meaning behind the song - "A friend of mine had told me over a pint that his relationship with his father was the greatest lesson in empathy he ever had, which really struck a chord. Psychologically, I didn't want to move out of my gaff on a bad note, so writing Lilac Leaves was my way of acknowledging a forgiveness"
Odd Morris's website can be found here and they are on Facebook and Twitter.
They play London Old Blue Last (November 7), Belfast The Speakeasy (8), Derry Bennigan's Bar (9) and Dublin Whelans (January 31).
