The story of So Be It is an interesting one. Their singer Emily lives in Manchester whilst the band live in Italy, where they met when she was on an Erasmus program. They formed an unlikely bond and started to make music with the wonders of technology of which Blossom is the latest product.
A haunting mysterious electronic backdrop forms the perfect pallet for Emily's vocals, half-spoken, half-sung vocals. It's a song that doesn't try to be too clever or ambitious, but still leaves you intrigued as to where it's going next and is much better for that. They've got an album in the pipeline too; a product of the unusual working methods their geography has forced them to adopt.
