How Was The World? is the first single to be taken from Black Casino And The Ghost's third album Farewell Marshal Brunswick, due for release on March 1st. Clocking in at just one minute thirty-six seconds, it features eerie haunting vocals from Elisa set against an apocalyptic backdrop that casts the sound of impending doom.

Black Casino And The Ghost - Manchester Ritz - 16th February 2016
We'd been hoping Black Casino And The Ghost would make their way to Manchester for ages, but we'd never expected it would be in a venue like The Ritz and supporting Kula Shaker. However, stranger things have happened so we roll up in the middle of a thousand and a half people wanting to relive a strange phase twenty years ago where made up language ruled the charts to catch them impress a difficult audience with a real mix of high-energy rock and shimmering electronic balladry, always on the edge of explosion or retreat.

Black Casino And The Ghost are a four-piece from London featuring Elisa Zoot (also of Candy Says), Ariel Lerner, Gary Kilminster and Paul Winter-Hart. They formed in 2010 and released an EP called Falling Into Pieces as well as a fantastic cover of Summer In The City. This year they've released two great singles, Hoboland and I Like You Because You're Free, as a taster for Some Dogs Think Their Name Is No, their full-length debut.

Candy Says - New Single Release
Candy Says is a lo-fi chic pop DIY band from Oxford. They record their unique brand of home-made pop in a bungalow garage with a couple of microphones and an old MacBook. As well as being one of the most exciting new bands in the country, they're putting the most interesting spin on retro we've seen with their cassette single releases and their new ZX Spectrum-inspired video.
