Heaven On Earth - Manchester Halle St Peters - 22nd April 2017 (Hannah Nicholson, The Maitlands, The 99 Degree, The Creature Comfort. Hey Bulldog, OLA, Dantevilles, The Goa Express, Déjà Vega, Crimsons)


Heaven On Earth festival celebrated Earth Day on Saturday in the beautiful surroundings of Halle St Peters smack bang in the middle of the Ancoats construction zone. A wide range of bands hand-selected by the audience entertained the crowd throughout the day and evening.

Sunday night saw the latest instalment of the Astral Elevator psyche-influenced gig night in Manchester. The twentieth show from the independent promoter was probably their finest yet, with four acts of the highest quality, each with their own diverse style which thrilled a packed out Castle Hotel music room in Manchester.

Crimsons headlined the first of their own club nights at Manchester's newest venue Jimmy's on Saturday night. The crowd packed into the intimate downstairs area to witness three exciting but different bands play to an enthralled enthusiastic crowd.

Carnival Club / Crimsons / Kieran Dobson - Manchester Ruby Lounge - 4th February 2017



This Ruby Lounge show was Carnival Club's first ever headline show, but from the response they got from a packed crowd and the confident assured performance they gave that had a moshpit going wild from the very start, you wouldn't have been able to tell. As early as February they've already justified their spot in our Tips For 2017 and we suspect the rest of the year will get bigger and better. Support came from Crimsons and Kieran Dobson.

Carnival Club / Kashmere / Crimsons - Manchester Soup Kitchen - 21st January 2017



Saturday afternoon and night saw the first Lucoo all-dayer in Soup Kitchen with eight bands on the bill. Due to other commitments we were only able to catch three in the early evening, but with Carnival Club, Kashmere and Crimsons, we struck lucky.

New York Tourists / Trampolene / Crimsons / Crossfire - Manchester Night And Day - 4th June 2016



The Night And Day provided the home (our second one) to the latest Scruff Of The Neck Records showcase night featuring four very different bands from Manchester and further afield. New York Tourists headed up a bill featuring South Wales heroes Trampolene, local three-piece Crimsons and the stunning Crossfire playing only their seventh gig.
