Sometimes we're way off the mark, sometimes we're spot on and other times we're a year or even two or three ahead of a band breaking. What really matters though is we think these twenty artists are great - and think you should check them out.

The Wha - Interview

The Wha might only have released two singles, but they're already signed to star-maker indie label Chess Club and making enough noise to be considered the next in line of bands to come from the fertile Irish music scene and make their name in the UK. We caught up with them for a chat about their roots, the expectation that's been placed upon them and plans into next year.

TRACK OF THE DAY : The Wha - Innocents

Innocents is the debut single from Kilkenny's The Wha, the latest band off what seems like a conveyor belt of bands coming from across the Irish Sea. Like the others though, they've got a spirit and a personality of their own and this shines through in both the song and the video for Innocents.
