Control Of The Going / Katie O'Malley / Hey Bulldog / Vanity Box / Slack Alices - Altrincham Honey Beat / Ashton-Under-Lyne Witchwood - 23/24th February 2018
Control Of The Going launched their debut album I Love You, But It's Going To Rain with two very different shows over the weekend. On Friday they travelled the length of the Metrolink network from their home of Ashton-Under-Lyne to Altrincham to play the first-ever in-store at the town's fabulous new vinyl cafe Honeybeat, before returning home in triumph on Saturday night to the legendary Witchwood venue closer to home. Support came from Katie O'Malley in Altrincham and Slack Alices, Vanity Box and Hey Bulldog in Ashton.

Luckless / Thomas And The Empty Orchestra / Katie O'Malley - Manchester Gullivers - 12th November 2016
Luckless, aka Ivy Rossiter, hit Manchester for the first time since her 2015 performance at A Carefully Planned Festival on Saturday night, playing an intimate show in the lounge room at Gullivers. We caught up her playing songs from her last album Vindication Blues as well as songs from her next record, hopefully due out in 2017. Support came from Sheffield's Thomas And The Empty Orchestra and Katie O'Malley.

The Slow Readers Club / Bang Bang Romeo / Katie O'Malley / Ryan Jarvis - Manchester Crafted Festival - 13th February 2016
The Hope Mill Theatre, hidden away at the back of Ancoats, is the setting for the second Crafted Festival, a celebration of beer, food and music - possibly the best three things known to man. In wonderfully intimate surroundings we watched The Slow Readers Club, Bang Bang Romeo, Katie O'Malley and Ryan Jarvis play sets as the beer flowed and all sorts of street food was consumed.
