James - Alicante Noches Magicas - 24th August 2025

Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, James took Spain by storm - first with a euphoric set at Sonorama Festival, then with their first-ever Alicante show. As part of the Noches Mágicas 2025 series, 3,000 fans filled Muelle 12 for a seaside celebration that embodied the band’s spirit and unofficial anthem, Getting Away With It.

With front man Tim Booth nobbled by an ankle injury they delivered a hit-heavy set to a crowd many of whom were too young to remember them reforming yet alone their 90s chart peak.

James - Halifax Piece Hall - 6th June 2025

James opened The Piece Hall in Halifax's impressive summer season with the first of two sold out nights at the beautiful Grade I listed eighteenth century cloth hall. With a set that touched on most periods in their forty-year plus career, they delighted a crowd with hits, deep cuts and curveballs as the rains came down and Tim Booth crowd surfed on a sea of wet raised arms lost in the moment.

James - Warrington Neighbourhood Festival - 24th May 2025

Neighbourhood Weekender took a break in 2024, but it returned in style this year, with James headlining Saturday night. The band last topped the bill in 2021, stepping in for Ian Brown after he dropped out over COVID-19 vaccination requirements. With no Manchester date on their current tour, the Warrington-based festival served as the closest thing to a hometown show - and it certainly felt like one.

James warmed up for their Neighbourhood Weekender headline slot on Saturday with an intimate sweaty warm-up show at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange. Mixing tracks from last year’s number one album Yummy and tracks from the albums that preceded it with some of their biggest hits they delighted a Scottish crowd that took some to get going but which finished one joyful bouncing mass.

James - Live At The Acropolis Film Screening / Q&A


James provided fans with an exclusive preview of their Live At The Acropolis film recorded in Athens with the Manchester Inspirational Voices Gospel Choir and Orca 22 arranged and conducted by Joe Duddell on Tuesday night in the magnificent surroundings of Aviva Studios' Hall. A showing of the full concert film was followed by an insightful Q&A session led by director Chris Atkins with Tim Booth, Jim Glennie and Chloe Alper of the band and Joe Duddell.

Johnny Marr / James - Montreal MTLEUS - 13th October 2024

Back in the Summer, Manchester icons James and Johnny Marr joined forces for two UK festival shows - Bedford Summer Sessions and Lytham Festival. Delivering two incredible nights that saw Johnny join the nine piece for Laid, it was the first time that they’d played together since James supported The Smiths back in 1985. Luckily for fans in North America, they’ve been able to experience the magic as the two have just come to the end of a lengthy co-headline tour that started in Denver last month. On Sunday 13th October, the tour stopped at MTELUS in Montreal.

James / Razorlight - Cardiff Utilita Arena - 11th June 2024


After a two-day break James returned to the stage on their Yummy tour in Cardiff's Utilita Arena on Tuesday night with a set still heavy on their recent number one album, a few unexpected twists and turns and with an energy and vitality that resonated with an appreciative Welsh crowd so early in the working week. Support came from an impressive forty-five minute set by Razorlight.
