The Slow Readers Club - Live At Festival No.6
To accompany their third album Build A Tower, The Slow Readers Club are also releasing their performance with the Festival No.6 classical ensemble at last year's festival consisting of six songs chosen from their first two albums and arranged by Joe Duddell. With some rarely played tracks making an appearance and some old favourites given a radical makeover, it's a stunning companion piece to the album itself.

The Slow Readers Club Reveal Festival No 6 Collaboration
The Slow Readers Club have revealed Block Out The Sun as the second track from their Festival No 6 collaboration with Joe Duddell where they performed six songs with a string quartet. The full performance will be released on CD and vinyl on May 4 to coincide with the release of their third album Build A Tower.

An Evening Of Motown And Northern Soul - Manchester Camerata / Joe Duddell - Manchester Bridgewater Hall - 30th March 2018
Over the past few years, orchestral tours by bands have become a commonplace occurrence. Manchester's experimental Camerata orchestra and celebrated composer Joe Duddell came up with a different idea - to recreate the magic of Motown and Northern Soul with an orchestra and live band in a seated venue. Manchester's Bridgewater Hall was the setting as they attempted to recreate the magic of Motown, Wigan Casino and The Twisted Wheel in more lavish surroundings.

Mike Garry and Joe Duddell - Interview (St Anthony)
St Anthony is a poem written by Manchester's Mike Garry to commemorate the life of Tony Wilson who passed eight years ago this month after a battle with cancer. Mike has teamed up with celebrated composer Joe Duddell to produce a version of the poem that's set to music to help raise funds for The Christie where Tony was treated in his final days. We spoke to Mike and Joe about how the project got together and what they aim to achieve.

Joe Duddell - Interview
This Saturday, 8 September, Richard Hawley performs a selection of tracks from across his career with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra at the Magna Centre in Rotherham as part of the BBC Philharmonic presents series. The show will be broadcast live on BBC 6 Music from 7pm.
The set has been specially orchestrated for the event by Joe Duddell, whose previous work includes a tour with James and The Orchestra of the Swan, two performances with Elbow and the Halle Orchestra for MIF and a collaboration with Nero and the BBC Philharmonic. We spoke to Joe to find out more about the project and how it came about.
