Touts' tour in support of their recent single Before We Go Forward hit Manchester's Night And Day Cafe on Friday night with an hour-long twenty one set that was confrontational in its raw punk energy. Support came from fellow Irish band Inhaler.

Touts recently released Before We Go Forward, a cover of a long-lost Joe Strummer song. We caught up with them as they embark on a big UK and Ireland tour including a show at the Night And Day in Manchester on the 29th March to talk about their songwriting ethos, plans for an album and the Brexit elephant in the room.

There has always been a sense of inevitability in the last three years that Blossoms' path would this summer lead them to Castlefield Bowl. Having supported both James and The Charlatans here in previous years and a year on from their number one debut album, it's a fitting way to bring to a close the first phase of their journey to be mentioned in the same breath as those aforementioned legends of the local music scene.
