Each summer, Cardiff Castle opens its majestic grounds to a host of celebrated artists, offering a truly picturesque backdrop for live music. On Thursday 10th July, the historic venue was alive with the sounds of Manchester’s beloved indie rock band, James, who captivated the audience with their unmistakable flair. The evening was further elevated by support from acclaimed acts Jamie Webster and Shed Seven.

Blossoms / Inhaler / Shed Seven - Wythenshawe Park - 25th August 2024
Blossoms performed their biggest ever headline show on Sunday night as twenty five thousand people trekked from all corners of Greater Manchester and further afield to Wythenshawe Park to witness the band confirm their status as a band that can headline festivals and remind us of the depth of their back catalogue crammed full of the very best indie pop around.

Shed Seven - Instant Pleasures
Shed Seven return with their first album since 2001's Truth Be Told. For a band that's made a success out of the reforming and biennial celebratory sold-out tour cycle for the past few years, it's a brave step to put new music out in the world when their audience might not be receptive to it. Instant Pleasures is classic Shed Seven though and dispels any such worries as it takes over where they left off so long ago.

Shed Seven / Inspiral Carpets - Manchester Academy - 11th December 2015
Twenty-one and a half years on from watching this same line-up (in reverse) in this very same building, Shed Seven and Inspiral Carpets returned to Manchester Academy for the first of two sold out nights to help the room packed of forty-somethings to return back in time to their twenties.
