Heaven On Earth festival celebrated Earth Day on Saturday in the beautiful surroundings of Halle St Peters smack bang in the middle of the Ancoats construction zone. A wide range of bands hand-selected by the audience entertained the crowd throughout the day and evening.

Hana - Interview
One of our favourite singers, Hannah Nicholson, has recently started a project under her own name entitled Hana after spells with Hannah and Lois and Bird To Beast. We had a chat with her before her performance at Heaven On Earth at Halle St Peters in Manchester on Saturday to find out more about her forthcoming EP, her touring plans and the style of her music.

A Carefully Planned Festival Day 2 - 16th October 2016 (The Gildings / Corinthians / Hannah Nicholson / Katherine Priddy / Jo Rose / Freschard / Laura James / Freakout Honey / Soccer96)
Day Two of the sixth edition of A Carefully Planned Festival and as ever the line up threw up a number of clashes as well as times where we were forced onto a voyage of discovery. We saw The Gildings, Corinthians, Hannah Nicholson, Katherine Priddy, Jo Rose, Freschard, Laura James, Freakout Honey and Soccer96 across our favourite Northern Quarter venues.
