Delayed from December, VLURE's triumphant end-of-tour homecoming at Glasgow's King Tut's Wah Wah Hut was the hottest ticket in town on Friday night. VLURE - Euphoria EP

Glasgow five-piece VLURE have been the hottest band on our radar since they released a live video of Desire way back in 2019 when the world was a very different place. Two and a bit years on, they release their debut EP Euphoria as a soundtrack to survival, of understanding exactly what and who matters and the importance of love and friendship to our existence and happiness.

VLURE / The Novus - Leeds Headrow House - 29th November 2021

VLURE completed their first UK tour with a show at Headrow House in Leeds. We diverted our travel plans as part of our mission to see them as much as we can at this important phase in their development as a band and were rewarded by another intense and unique performance from a band that excited us from the first note we heard from them and the love for who continues to grow.

VLURE / Shredd - Edinburgh Mash House - 20th November 2021

VLURE opened their UK tour on Saturday night at The Mash House in Edinburgh with a forty-minute genre-bending set of huge outsider anthems that set aching stories of loneliness, paranoia and mental health challenges to stomping dance beats that had the speakers on the verge of toppling and the floor creaking as the whole room lost themselves in an ecstatic experience.

TRACK OF THE DAY : VLURE - Heartbeat

VLURE have today released Heartbeat, their second single in quick succession to be taken from their Euphoria EP due in January. Another live favourite, the song is very much aimed at the dancefloor, both in terms of the music and its lyrical content.

The Murder Capital / VLURE - Glasgow McChuills - 10th September 2021

The sweaty hot back room of McChuills bar in the East End of Glasgow is the setting for two of the most vital bands of our time to play an intimate Transmit Festival aftershow party for Yala Records. We make the pilgrimage north of the border to experience the sort of night that we've been robbed of for the last eighteen months - a reminder of why music, lived and breathed with like-minded souls, is the best medicine and the cure for so many ills.

TRACK OF THE DAY : VLURE - Shattered Faith

Without having released a single in the traditional sense VLURE had already made their presence felt with a live performance video of Desire at the tail end of 2019 and a series of support slots where they threatened to upstage the headliners. 2021 sees them belatedly, for reasons we all know, enter the fray with Shattered Faith - more an unequivocal statement of intent than a debut single.

TRACK OF THE DAY : VLURE - Euphoria '94 (Live)

VLURE might only have one released track available, a live video at all, but they've got a lot of people excited about their uncompromising sound and attitude. That excitement is heightened by a second video, a live performance of Euphoria '94 for the SAY Awards last week.
