TRACK OF THE DAY : Edits - Burn

Edits return with Burn, their first single of the year, after Liv and Chris decamped back to their hometown of Northwich from Manchester. Self-produced like their previous releases, it shows the duo adding an heavier edge to their sound from last year's Re-Surface EP and standalone single Cold.

Edits - Re-Surface EP

Re-Surface is the third EP from Manchester duo Edits featuring lead track Don't Speak which we featured late last year and four other tracks. It's an EP full of the dramatic electronic and vocal swooping and soaring that characterised their first two releases, but with a more direct sense of purpose. It's an impressive statement of intent from a band seeking to break out of the Manchester underground scene.

Edits return with their new single Don't Speak, a song that encapsulates their "electronic other world-ness" description of their music perfectly. The follow-up to two well-received EPs is their first new music in over a year and signifies a subtle but noticeable change in direction for the Manchester-based two piece.
