The Lottery Winners' unstoppable rise through the Manchester music venues continued on Friday night as they headlined a sold-out Apollo in front of an adoring audience who filled the room with love for a band of underdogs who've battled and earned their way to this bucket list venue for any aspiring band to come from the Manchester area. Support came from a surprise set from three of Reverend And The Makers and local newcomers Dirty Blonde.

Reverend And The Makers - Preston Action Records - 27th September 2017
As part of a whistle stop tour of record shops to promote their new album The Death Of A King, currently sitting in the top ten midweek, Jon (Rev) and Ed from Reverend And The Makers rocked up to a packed Action Records in Preston for an early evening in-store and signing session. A ten-song set, mixing songs from the new record and their previous five top twenty albums, gave the crowd the opportunity to fall in love with the new songs, sing along to old favourites and then meet and greet with them afterwards.

Reverend And The Makers - The Death Of A King
Reverend And The Makers' sixth album The Death Of A King is released this Friday and is their most diverse album yet. With vocal contributions from four of the band and real contrast between adjoining songs it's as much a fabulous mixtape as it is an album that ranks up there with their best.

Reverend And The Makers - Manchester Gorilla - 17th November 2016
Across the road from Gorilla, Reverend And The Makers have a habit of making the legendary bouncy dancefloor resemble a trampoline from start to finish of their customary tour stop off. Tonight is a different beast altogether though as they embark on an acoustic tour that strips back some of their best known songs as well as some of their favourites to their bare bones. It doesn't stop Gorilla heaving, sweating and at times drowning them out in a room full of love and adoration.

Reverend And The Makers - Mirrors
Mirrors is Reverend And The Makers' fifth album and a marked departure from the bass-heavy dancefloor oriented @Reverend_Makers and Thirty Two. It's a concept album of sorts, recorded in part in Jamaica, where they filmed a DVD to accompany the album. It only last thirty four minutes for fourteen songs, but it takes the listener on a memorable musical journey. Unlike so many concept album, it hits the spot every time and is their best album yet.

Reverend And The Makers - Sheffield O2 Academy - 24th / 25th October 2014
It's ten years since Reverend And The Makers burst onto the scene with a batch of high-octane singles and their State Of Things debut album. Follow-up A French Kiss In The Chaos failed to hit the same chart heights and their number seemed up, but two further albums @Reverend_Makers and Thirty Two reversed that fall. And so, ten years on, they play all four albums in full over two nights at Sheffield's O2 Academy.

Reverend And The Makers - Interview
The renaissance of Reverend and the Makers has been one of the most deserved success stories of the past few years. Hard-working, hard-gigging and hard-talking their way past corporate bullshit, they've bulldozed into the charts and into the hearts of young and old music fans alike with their no-nonsense no-thrills in-your-face albums @Reverend_Makers and Thirty Two and ecstatic live shows where the audience bounces from start to finish. Even The Stars spoke to The Reverend himself, aka Jon McClure, ahead of their headline slot at this weekend's Blackthorn Festival.

Reverend And The Makers - 32 - album review
Reverend And The Makers - Thirty Two (Cooking Vinyl)
CD / Vinyl / Download / Pledge
Due out 24th February
Reverend And The Makers were one of the surprises of 2012. Dismissed by the press and radio as a one-album wonder and front man Jon McClure often ridiculed for his outspoken views and his interaction with fans, their @Reverend_Makers album was an unexpected success and they sold out venues across the country.
