Sheffield three-piece I Kept The Wolves Away might only have released two songs so far, but on the basis of them we think we'll be hearing a lot more of them. We've chosen Take A Little as our Track Of The Day.
I Kept The Wolves Away are Dan Williamson on vocals and guitar, Ash Romans on bass and Matty Harrop on drums and what's immediately evident from the first bars of Take A Little is that they're a band intent on forging their own sound. Not afraid to sound big and expansive and with no intention to try and replicate some of their hometown's favourite sons, Take A Little is an impressive first song they've revealed to the world and the other song on their Soundcloud entitled Howl is equally so. We look forward to hearing what else they've got in their locker.
