Desire is the debut single by Manchester-based singer-songwriter Julia Bardo, an impressive sounding song, drenched in 60s vibes and a timeless vocal.
The song is about moving on, the desire to do something different, go some place else whilst being frustrated at being stuck where you are - the lyrics lament "I have so many desires, I can't wait no more, waiting for my time to come." It's a stunning debut with such an effortless yet emotive vocal that accentuates the power and the impact of the words Julia is singing.
Julia also plays guitar in upcoming band Working Men's Club whose debut single Bad Blood has just been C-playlisted on 6 Music.
