Idiot is the first track from The Elephant Trees' forthcoming EP Monachopsis. An upbeat vibrant song that reflects their live shows, Idiot is the duo of Martha and Sam's most impressive release to date.
Martha said about Idiot - "You know that feeling of chaos that comes with falling in love, that out of control, hurtling towards the sudden panic of opening yourself up to vulnerability? Somewhere in that confusion stemmed Idiot. You can tell yourself 100 times not to be such an idiot, but who are you to stand in the way of your own happiness? Idiot is the first in a series we've been working on for a while and I'm excited to let everyone into our party."
As she alluded to, Idiot is the lead track from their EP Monachopsis, currently scheduled for release to tie into their November tour.

They play their biggest headline show to date at Manchester's Deaf Institute on November 16. Tickets are available here. They also play Bingley Weekender (August 30), London The Monarch (November 21), Nottingham Angel Microbrewery (22) and Leeds Belgrave Music Hall (29).
